Martínez Marín explores life, death, beauty and decay in his organic paintings, using stains and brushstrokes that remind us of flowers as a visual language to reflect on universal themes, creating a fictitious naturalistic universe -reminiscent of the classical still life– where nature and flowers, with their short existence are a reminder of the brevity of life and the transience of beauty.
